Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: there are no accounts, we keep messages for 24 hours, and we do not sell anything.

Who we are

This site operates the temporary email service at this domain. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described below, use the contact page.

What we collect

Email messages sent to your temporary address

When someone sends mail to an address on our domains we store the sender, the recipient, the subject, the message body and any attachments, so that we can display them to you. We do not choose what arrives; whoever you gave the address to does.

Retention: deleted permanently 24 hours after arrival, or immediately when you delete them yourself.

Your current address

Stored in a single cookie so your inbox is still there when you return. It contains only the address itself.

Technical logs

Our infrastructure provider records standard request data — IP address, time, URL, user agent — for security and abuse prevention. These are short-lived operational logs and are not joined to inbox contents.

What we do not collect

Rejecting non-essential cookies leaves the service fully functional; you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising and uses Google AdSense. Google may set cookies and use identifiers to select and measure ads, and its use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not share message content, addresses, or anything derived from your mail with any advertiser. Ads are matched to the page you are reading, not to what is in your inbox.

You can manage personalised advertising through Google's ad settings, and you can decline advertising cookies here using the banner shown on your first visit.

Who else sees data

We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.

In practice, deletion is immediate and self-service: delete a message, or empty the inbox, and it is gone. Because we hold no account and no identifier linking you to an inbox, we generally cannot identify which data relates to you if you write to us after the fact — which also means there is very little to disclose.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

International transfers

The service runs on a globally distributed network, so data may be processed in a country other than your own, under appropriate safeguards.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, message HTML is sanitized and sandboxed before display, and remote images are blocked by default to prevent sender tracking. Randomly generated inboxes are protected by a secret token held in your browser and stored here only as a hash, so the address alone does not grant access.

However — and this matters — an address you choose yourself is public by design, because anyone typing the same name has an equal claim to it. And clearing your cookies destroys access to a private inbox permanently, as there is no account to recover it from. Do not use this service for anything confidential.

Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
